This section is for install operators running a Sovereign deployment day to day. It covers the activities that happen after the install is up and one or more organizations exist on it.

Cloud customers can skim these pages for context, but Novantra runs all of this on your behalf in Cloud. Most of it does not have a Cloud-side equivalent settings page.

Lifecycle

License Management — viewing entitlements, renewing, offline activation requests, what happens when a license expires.
Updates & Upgrades — release channels, applying updates per format (Docker, .deb, MSI), migrations on restart.

Safety net

Backup & Restore — what you back up, where state lives, and how to validate a restore.
Health & Monitoring — health probes, security events, and operational evidence to watch.
Async Runtime - background workers, Redis-compatible cache/locks/rate limits, broker wakeups, and DB polling fallback.
Catalog Distribution — materializing reviewed signed package releases for cloud cells and licensed on-prem installations.
Billing Policy - provider-side entitlement grants, policy events, credit ledgers, and recompute operations.

Cryptographic and storage operations

Key Rotation — rotating the install keyring, per-organization keyrings, and customer-managed keys.
Storage Migration — moving existing files into a newly-configured customer storage binding.
